Intro

Hello! Well I've never done this before, a blog that is, so here it goes.
There's a big chance I won't show this to anybody if my latest diet fad doesn't pay off, but here's hoping it does so I'll be optimistic and start writing this.
My husband and I have struggled with keeping the weight off pretty much since before we both met and over the last 10 years we've both yo-yoed in weight half a dozen times. When we really commit to something, we do really well (hubby has lost nearly 30kg one time) but we don't do so well at keeping  it off - and ever since the kids came along we've both found it really hard to find the motivation to keep going.
So I just placed our first order for lite'n'easy. I read something on the Stay Strong Mumma facebook page the other day, where she says that she actually devotes more time on shopping and cooking meals than she does on exercise. And it got me thinking, maybe our diet really is where we go really really wrong. I mean I run around most days like a chicken with it's head cut off - I am that busy and I don't get a chance to sit down - so why am I still fat? Yea my diet sucks. And I rarely find time to cook. But I have never been a fan of cooking, not every day anyway. Especially when my 3 year old won't eat most things I put in front of her so I get very over cooking just to see it wasted.
Anyway...... it got me thinking, lite'n'easy deliver to our town now, so lets give it a shot. It'll take all the stress out of shopping and cooking meals, and I won't get to 8 o'clock at night and realise I haven't eaten yet and decide to order a pizza out of convenience and being too tired to care.
First order arrives on Tuesday and we'll start Wednesday. Here's hoping I can shed atleast a kg a week until my 30th in December!
